It was the pursuit of this career path that led to her move to Chesterfield, where she worked for a large corporation in various roles, mainly within the finance function, ending as a senior leader. During her career she has managed operational budgets and teams of various sizes, and has experience in personnel, change management, system development and operations, as well as quality control and regulatory compliance. For over 10 years she has been a governor of a small school, holding various positions and she currently leads on Safeguarding and SEND. She is also a Director and Trustee of a local Homeless charity. Her interests are in education, especially SEND, as well as housing and transport.
